Be Alright

Jonathan Thomas Maiocco is proud to release Be Alright, the eighth track from his latest album, Religious Trauma Syndrome and the Other Side. This album delves into Jonathan’s personal journey of growing up in a religious community, coming out as gay, experiencing intense rejection, and navigating the path to healing and self-acceptance.

The album is divided into two parts: Religious Trauma Syndrome explores the darker moments of his experience, while The Other Side reflects the hope and resilience that followed. Be Alright a pop-synth anthem with an uplifting chorus, captures this spirit with the refrain, “I don’t know how I know, but I know I’m gonna be alright,” a phrase Jonathan used to remind himself during tough times.

"This song was a crucial part of my healing, it’s a reminder to myself to stay in the present moment and to remember that, somehow, everything will be alright," says Jonathan.
